2023 Second call results

• Eligibility check:

  • Provisional lists of eligible and non-eligible candidates​​​​​​.

  • Allegations and corrections: a period of 7 calendar days to submit amended applications through the website, from April 5 (00:00 UTC+2) to April 11 (23:59 UTC+2).

  • Final lists of eligible and non-eligible candidates​​​​​​.
     

• Pre-selection phase:

  Evaluation carried out by a panel of 12 experts. Each application has been evaluated by 3 experts. In this phase, a maximum of 10 applications are pre-selected for each of the four WIT areas, which will move on to the next phase (Selection Phase).
  
  The score obtained in this phase will only be used to advance to the next phase and will be independent of the score obtained in the second or final selection phase.

  • Provisional lists of preselected and non-preselected candidates (published on 17 May).​​​​​
    
    Allegations: applicants have a period of 5 business day, from May 17 (00:00, UCT+2) to May 23 (23:59, UCT+2), to submit allegations against the lists, using this allegation form (available at 00:00. UCT+2).
     

  • Final lists of preselected and non-preselected candidates (published on 25 May).

  Applicants accessing to the Selection Phase will be required to prepare and submit the following documents:
  
  1.- Research proposal (the use of template is compulsory).
  2.- Ethics self-assessment (checklist available).
  
  Submission-Deadline:
  Through Application form for Selection Phase May 2023, in PDF format.
  
  Submission period: one month, from May 26 (00:00, UCT+2) to June 26 (23:59, UCT+2).
  
  Results:
  • Provisional list of selected and non-selected candidates (published on August 4).
    
    Allegations: applicants have a period of 5 business day, from August 5 (00:00, UCT+2) to August 11 (23:59, UCT+2), to submit allegations against the lists, using this allegation form.
    
    Allegations must be based on inadequacies related to the procedure, material or factual errors. The scientific-technical considerations of the Evaluation Panel cannot be appealed.
     
  • Final list of selected and non-selected candidates (published on August 24).
     

• Proposal of fellowhips and reserve list:
  • Proposal for the award of the 8 fellowhips and the reserve list of the second cal of WIT 
  • Those who have been ranked in the first 8 positions must accept the fellowship submitting the Acceptance document designed for it through this Link of Acceptance form.
  • Deadline: 25th of September (23:59, UTC+2). WIT encourages you to do it as soon as possible. 
  • If applicants fail to submit this document will be considered to have withdrawn their application.

• Final resolution for the award of the 8 WIT-Cofund predoctoral fellowships, 2023 call. INAL:
  • Resolution 1021E/2023 (publication date: 28.09.2023). This resolution confirms entirely the proposal published on 11.09.2023 (english version available).
  • Resolution 1058E/2023 (publication date: 13.11.2023). Supplementary award of the WIT predoctoral fellowship due to a resignation.
